The terracotta figures, dating back from 210 BC, were discovered in the year 1974 by some local farmers near Xi'an, Shaanxi province, China near the Mausoleum of the First Qin Emperor. These are our pictures of them.

When in Paris we always stay at the Abaca Messidor, the staff is friendly, rooms are clean, reasonable rates and it is close to the METRO. Last year a visit to Bordeaux, (Wine Show) time was limited and did not get a chance to go to Paris but perhaps soon we will. We have no affiliation with this hotel other than we enjoy staying there and whenever anyone asks we always recommend this jewel of a Hotel in the “city of light”, which is Paris.

Our London England tour by Open-Top Bus

London's Original Open-Top Bus Tour.

Effective and enjoyable ways of becoming orientated is to take the Hop On, Hop Off tour buses on the first day. You can spend all day hopping off and on or just stay on. A great way to see the city!

Too bad it's an overcast day.

There is the London Bridge in the distance!
